FreedomPop, the carrier offering free and cheap data plans on Sprint’s network, today announced that it’s bringing its free voice, data, and text plans to tablet users starting with the iPad mini and Samsung Tab 3. Since LTE iPads only support data over their cellular connection, the carrier provides iPad users with Apple headsets with mics for making calls and an app that routes calls/texts through its own VoIP platform....

Jason Goes to Hell director Adam Marcus says that Crystal Lake killer Jason Voorhees is in fact a Deadite from the Evil Dead franchise. This might sound like an odd proclamation, but according to Marcus, he designed it that way from the ground up, following a conversation with Evil Dead creator Sam Raimi. Released in 1993, Jason Goes to Hell is considered by many Friday the 13th fans to be the least of the sequels, if for no other reason then that it features an appalling lack of Jason himself....

Netflix’s Fuller House season 4 brings back most of the original characters from Full House and continues their respective stories. Michelle Tanner will, sadly, still be absent in the upcoming season as Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen continue to refuse to appear in the reboot, but the new Fuller House outing won’t have a shortage of familiar faces. Along with them are new characters played by well-known guest stars making the upcoming season potentially the best so far....

Warning: SPOILERS for Game of Thrones season 6, episode 6 ahead - After last week’s episode of Game of Thrones turned out to be a bit of an emotional rollercoaster, tonight’s episode took a step back to move different pieces into place on the board, and catch up with characters like Sam (John Bradley) and Gilly (Hannah Murray), who had been absent for a while. Of course, the show’s writers had to give fans something to talk about (aside from Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) giving an inspirational speech on the back of a dragon, of course), and so “Blood of My Blood” returned to the fold a character whom many had assumed was gone for good....

Gemma Chan is ascending. The 36-year old actress has been working in Hollywood for more than a decade and is breaking out in a big way. After a scene stealing role in Crazy Rich Asians, Chan is suiting up (uncomfortably so) as Kree Starforce member Minn-Erva in Captain Marvel. In the comics, Minn-Erva has long been an adversary of Captain Marvel’s, though she wasn’t always fighting Carol Danvers. A scientist, Minn-Erva hoped to use the original Captain Marvel, the Kree warrior Mar-Vell, to kickstart the evolution of her people....

To reiterate, when you usually try to load a DOS program in Windows 7, you’ll see a message like the one in the screenshot below saying, “The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you’re running.” Also, if you try to run the DOS program from the command prompt (CMD) in Windows, you’ll run into another “unsupported 16-bit application” error message. During the 1980s, the heyday of the Friday the 13th franchise and the golden age of slasher films, the MPAA ratings board loved to play hardball with the genre. Kills would be deemed too gory, sex would be deemed too graphic, and scares would be deemed too disturbing....

Friends was groundbreaking upon its 1994 premiere. We fell for the six friends and became involved in each of their lives, sitting on the edges of our seats as we watched them make mistakes, triumph and everything in between. Life is no easy feat, and between the six friends there was something for everyone to relate to. It’s no question as to why or how the show became as popular as it did....

The “we were on a break” turned into a running gag (Ross, for what it is worth, not an excuse) throughout the show’s run. The other major romantic conflict revolves around Monica and her two main love interests – Richard and Chandler. Both men have their qualities that make them a good life partner for Monica. One could see them locking horns (and they sort of did) to marry her....

There are tons of TV shows out there full of fictional relationships that fans either like or don’t at all. One of the most well-known TV relationship is the one between Rachel Green and Ross Geller on Friends. This television series is probably the most celebrated and popular of all time… but this relationship… not so much. Sure, many were glad they finally and actually ended up together, but all these years later, there are still plenty of people who are not....
