Game of Thrones actor Kit Harington thinks the series is coming to an end at the perfect time for everyone involved. David Benioff and D.B. Weiss had brought the critically-acclaimed fantasy drama to life on the small screen in 2011 - based on George R.R. Martin’s novel series A Song of Ice and Fire - and it has since become one of the most watched shows in television history, which is why the network is already contemplating ways to continue the franchise beyond the flagship series....

Every actor pulls inspiration from somewhere, and Future Man’s Wolf is inspired by Derek Wilson’s pet dog. Will Smith plays an aging hitman who faces off with his younger clone in the trailer for Ang Lee’s sci-fi film, Gemini Man. The project has been in some stage of development since 1997 and, at one point, was slated to be directed by the late Tony Scott. Several other writers and filmmakers have worked on Gemini Man since then, but the script’s never really been the problem. Rather, the real issue was always the technology needed to create a realistic young CGI clone of the main actor....

Disney Parks’ hotly anticipated Star Wars theme park, Galaxy’s Edge, hit capacity within an hour on opening day, with guests being allowed to come back later as part of a “boarding party.” The setting for Disney’s latest and greatest theme park is, naturally, a galaxy far, far away. Its home is the planet of Batuu at the Black Spire Outpost, with its timeline falling between Star Wars: The Last Jedi and the upcoming Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker....

HBO’s Game of Thrones is responsible for introducing some of the most beloved characters in all of the modern era of entertainment, including Jon Snow, Daenerys Targaryen (well, before the final season, at least), Tyrion Lannister, and Sansa Stark. Its heroes were always heroic and human, lovable and empathetic. But when it came to villains, there’s truly no other shows on TV that made characters so truly easy to hate as Game of Thrones did....

Theon Greyjoy ended up becoming a very divisive character on Game Of Thrones, with some fans loving him and others hating him. This is because he does a lot of great things throughout the show, which makes him seem a hero, while he also does some despicable things, making him seem a villain. There’s no doubt that Theon goes through some incredibly traumatic experiences throughout the show. His time spent with Ramsay Bolton changes him, creating almost an alter-ego with the character Reek....

After an agonizingly long wait, Game of Thrones returned last night with its eighth season, also confirmed to be the show’s final run. As the culmination of the world’s most popular television series, anticipation for the season 8 opener was palpable and enhanced even further by the extra-long gap since season 7. While the finale’s secrets have been closely guarded throughout filming, fans do know that the biggest battle in Thrones’ history will take place at Winterfell this season, as the united forces of the living clash against the undead army of the Night King....

The season 6 premiere of Game of Thrones, which aired Sunday on HBO, featured the resolution of several of the cliffhangers from last year’s finale, including the fates of numerous characters who were ambiguously dead at the end of season 5. But a few things fans were expecting were absent from the first episode, including the arrival of numerous new characters, while a return of the long-absent Bran Stark and Hodor also remained elusive....

Many viewers felt that the finale to Game of Thrones was shockingly unpredictable but actress Gwendoline Christine, better known as Brienne of Tarth, guessed the ending in an interview two years ago. Ultimately, the only predictable thing about the Game of Thrones’ final episode is the huge amount of controversy it generated. The show’s eighth season has attracted much criticism but opinion on the final episode was more evenly divided and while the infamous petition to remake season 8 enjoyed a surge in support following the finale’s airing, a recent survey found that nearly half of the audience were satisfied with the conclusion - a respectable result considering the inherent difficultly in delivering a final episode that will please all viewers....

In one week, Star Wars fans will have the opportunity to decide their opinion on Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. The first of many standalone movies set in the Star Wars universe has been the source of many rumors with regard to extensive reshoots and Disney reportedly being unhappy with the film, leading the studio to bring in acclaimed writer-director Tony Gilroy to take the helm as it were from director Gareth Edwards, in terms of handling the reshot material....

Microsoft has announced that Gears of War 5 has outsold Gears of War 4, despite launching simultaneously on Xbox Game Pass. The announcement comes out of Microsoft’s recent X019 conference, by way of Vice President of Gaming Phil Spencer. At the conference, Microsoft also revealed plans to further strengthen the catalogue of games coming to Xbox Game Pass. Gears of War 5 released back in September 2019, almost three years after its predecessor Gears 4....

A third trailer has been released for the upcoming live-action Fullmetal Alchemist adaptation. The movie is based on the manga series by Hiromu Arakawa and the resulting two anime series and centers on two young alchemist brothers: Edward and Alphonse Elric. After losing their mother and with their father AWOL, Ed and Al decide to use the power of alchemy to resurrect their mother. They ultimately fail and in the process, Alphonse loses his body and Ed two limbs....
