Episode 2’s “A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms” was a surprisingly quiet, character-centric episode which set the stage for the Battle of Winterfell set to take place in Episode 3. Life has not been kind to Daenerys Targaryen’s dragons. If we’re being specific, life has not been kind to Rhaegal or Viserion. Drogon is the lucky one, the chosen child. For Taylor, hearing about the next installment of his favorite video game series filled him with regret rather than joy. Taylor suffered from bone cancer. The progression of the disease left him bedridden and afraid that he wouldn’t live to see the game’s release in December. Apple has just updated GarageBand for iPad and iMovie for iPhone/iPad with bug fixes, AirPlay compatibility and other new features. Free updates are now available on the App Store. GarageBand for iPad version 1.0.1 is a 369MB download while iMovie for iOS (supports iPad 2, iPhone 4 and fourth-generation iPod touch) version 1.2.1 weighs in at 69.2MB, priced at five bucks each. GE announced today that it’s introducing HomeKit enabled LED lighting products offering Siri-controlled solutions for both the home and enterprise. With dragons clearly being mythical creatures, it was always going to be a challenge to base them on any real-life animal from the pages of history.
