Universal and Blumhouse’s The Invisible Man trailer reveals more of the movie’s story. Originally, The Invisible Man reboot started off as part of Universal’s Dark Universe - a shared film universe featuring classic movie monsters like Dracula, the Mummy and the Invisible Man. However, when Tom Cruise’s The Mummy flopped with critics and wasn’t a major hit at the box office, Universal scrapped the Dark Universe.
