Apple doesn’t appear to be slowing down on its mysterious self-driving car technology testing. As noted in a new report on Uber’s fatal accident involving an autonomous vehicle, the Financial Times includes new data on how many self-driving cars Apple may be testing in California. Based on figures provided by the Department of Motor Vehicles in California, Apple now has permits to test a total of 45 self-driving vehicles on public roads in its home state....
While DC is going through a Rebirth, Marvel NOW! seems keen on not only reintroducing classic characters, but packing the shelves with all new titles and superheroes. Over the past few years, the House of Ideas has added Ironheart and Moon Girl, given fans multiple Captain Americas and Hulks, and the newest Ms. Marvel seems destined to be one of the publisher’s biggest heroes. There’s also been something of an interesting revival for Spider-Man supporting character Gwen Stacy, who’s back from the dead and loving it....
Future Man season 2 is out now, but what can audiences expect from Future Man season 3? The time-travel/’80s nostalgia comedy reinvented itself impressively in its second outing, spending most of its time exploring one era but still managing to mine nostalgia and comedy regardless of the setting. Stu Cahill’s villainous character might be a prime example of nature over nurture, but Future Man as a whole astounds in its ability to be more than the sum of its parts....
According to X-Men producer Lauren Shuler Donner, future movies are effectively on pause until after the Disney acquisition. Disney now expects to complete their purchase of Fox by June, after which point they’ll take ownership of most of Fox’s film and TV empire. The X-Men and Fantastic Four will be handed over to Marvel Studios, with Kevin Feige set to decide how exactly to integrate them into the MCU. This leaves the future of the X-Men film franchise in considerable doubt....
Ah, Game of Thrones. Few shows have tanked their good graces quite as spectacularly. It’s honestly a bit sad since the first six seasons– which do still hold up quite well– are getting lumped in with seasons 7 and 8. That said, it’s not like Game of Thrones was perfect until it suddenly wasn’t. It’s always had issues as an adaptation, most notably when it came to cutting characters. It’s hard to believe this actually ended up becoming the show’s biggest problem....
Game of Thrones returns a little later than unusual this year, with season 6 premiering in late April. That’s surely a scheduling decision by HBO more than anything else, but since fans are frothing at the mouth to learn the fates of more than few characters (though obviously one in particular), having to wait even longer for a new season is torture. Which is sort of fitting, actually, considering how cruel Game of Thrones often is to its characters - why not send a little pain the viewers way as well?...
GameStop will be closing 180-200 store locations globally, the company announced earlier during its Q2 earnings call, as a bad 2019 continues to get worse for the retailer. GameStop has already been reporting major issues with financial profits and future outlook, while the company has laid off several employees in sweeping cuts that took place in August - one of which heavily affected gaming outlet Game Informer, which lost seven members of its staff unexpectedly, some of which were out-of-country reporting on Gamescom 2019 at the time of their release....

Futurama might not be on the air anymore, but that doesn’t mean it’s still not an extremely popular show.
