If you grew up in the 80s or 90s, Full House probably makes you nostalgic for “a heart, a hand to hold onto,” and whether you subscribe to fan theories like it all being in a grieving Danny Tanner’s head or not, you can’d deny the smoking hotness that was Jesse Katsopolis, better known as Uncle Jesse. Despite coming to terms with his sensitive side by the end of Future Man’s first season, Derek Wilson’s Wolf gets “nasty” after a betrayal in season 2. By the end of season 1, Wolf evolves from a strictly hard-boiled warrior to someone more attuned to his feelings, so his return to form definitely doesn’t go unnoticed. In season 2 of Future Man, Wolf is in a very different place from season 1 - not just in literal terms (he and his team are in a rewritten future that is completely unfamiliar to them), but in terms of his lifestyle as well....

Romances on Game of Thrones rarely go well, and Jon Snow learned that fact more than anyone. Jon had significant romances with two women in series and both ended with her dying in his arms. The first was Ygritte, the tough Wildling and the second was Daenerys Targaryen, the Dragon Queen. Both of these romances seemed like they could allow Jon to have a happy ending and live a good life with someone he loves....

Game of Thrones quickly transformed from a cult-favorite into a highly disappointing show. When it came to an end, Friends had already been suggesting endings for its central characters. From Phoebe’s wedding to Monica and Chandler’s search for a new home for their expanding family, things were falling into place as the show prepared to end....

We are starting to see the “Cars and Trucks” model unfold as PC sales are starting to slip dramatically. Among the top 5 vendors in the U.S. PC market, all but Apple experienced a decline in shipments according to a Gartner report late this evening. This is not your average “Apple beat the PC industry every quarter for the past 5 years.” It is a dramatic fall. Apple pulled to within 500,000 units of Dell from double that a year ago....

Developer The Grizzly Labs is out with a major update to its popular Genius Scan app for iPhone and iPad. The new build features a totally overhauled app with “a next-generation AI” under the hood for smarter and enhanced filtering, smart document renaming, shadow removal, and more. Verizon has included Apple Music at no cost with its unlimited plans for some time and today the carrier is adding Apple’s gaming service as the latest free perk. Depending on the plan, Apple Arcade will be free for 6-12 months. Verizon has been including a variety of free add-ons for its modern unlimited plans over the last couple of years like Disney+, Hulu, Apple Music, and more. Now, Verizon is adding 6-12 free months of either Apple Arcade or Google Play Pass ($30-$60 value)....

In the outing, the conflict regarding who will sit on the Iron Throne was finally settled with Bran (Isaac Hempstead Wright) claiming the position of the ruler of Westeros....

Game of Thrones’ seventh season finale will air on HBO this Sunday night which, among other things, means fans of the series will be without Westeros for quite a while. The eighth and final season isn’t expected to begin production until the fall, with a premiere date that may very well slip into 2019. There’s always the hope that George R.R. Martin might finish The Winds of Winter in the meantime, but who knows when that might happen....

And you thought the first trailer was something special. With only two weeks to go until the premiere of Game of Thrones’s sixth season – this is the first season to start adapting material from the as-yet-unpublished final two books in George R.R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire series – HBO is really starting to open the floodgates, releasing official descriptions of the premiere and teasing clips on the late-night talk show circuit....

Everyone’s looking pretty serious in the latest Game of Thrones season 8 photos. Based on the A Song of Ice and Fire novels by George R.R. Martin, the HBO series premiered in 2011 and takes place in the (fictional) realms of Westeros and Essos. Now, after seven years of fighting, back-stabbing, and killing one another, the show’s remaining characters must band together to stop the Night King and his army of undead White Walkers from taking over the Seven Kingdoms....

While there had been speculation that Apple might pick up sales from Samsung after its disastrous Note 7 launch, with KGI estimating that Apple could pick up an additional 5-7M orders, this doesn’t appear to be the case. The latest numbers from Gartner suggest that it is Chinese brands that saw the benefit. The September 2 recall of the Note 7 saw Samsung’s Q3 market share fall year-on-year from 23.6% to 19....
