A Friends reunion special is officially greenlit for Warner Bros. streaming service HBO Max, reuniting all six original cast members. A staple of NBC’s “Must See TV” Thursday night lineup, Friends recently passed its 25th anniversary, but love for the show hasn’t wained. The series was initially available on Netflix, which introduced a younger generation to the series in 2015 when it added the show to its streaming roster. Academy Award-winning actress Jodie Foster is in negotiations to join FX’s Y: The Last Man tv show. The project is finally moving forward after being stuck in development for years. FX ordered a pilot for the show, to be led by showrunner Michael Green. A script for the pilot has also been written by Green and Melina Matsoukas is set to direct it. Y: The Last Man is a graphic novel series written by Brian K....

Game Of Thrones has finally run its course and fans all across the globe are still reeling, in one form or another, from the final season. Whether fans are signing pointless petitions or just trying to get over a broken heart, there’s plenty of pain going around. In a show known specifically for hurting its fans and its characters, it seems fitting to cap off this truly death-filled series with a countdown of some the most bloody and costly battles fought throughout the series....

Chivalry is certainly not dead… in Game of Thrones, at least. The hit TV series from HBO is a medieval fantasy and it features enough knights, lords, and ladies to fulfill anyone’s feudal drama cravings. However like in the real world as well, chivalry, which is often referred as a knight’s or nobleman’s code of honor and morals, often takes a backseat when it comes to plots and schemes for the crown....

Beyond that, Batman V Superman raises intriguing questions about Diana’s history in the DC Extended Universe - questions that will be addressed in 2017 with Wonder Woman, the Godot-anchored superhero movie that is being directed by Patty Jenkins (Monster) and scripted by Jason Fuchs (Pan)....

HBO’s crossover sensation Game of Thrones appears to be well on its way to television immortality. As controversial as it is infinitely watchable, the series continues to build on its already massive fan base year after year, with the season 5 finale setting several personal bests in the ratings department. Now that the dust has settled on the most divisive year to date in the series’ history, diehard fans have already begun counting down the days until the April 2016 premiere of season 6—thanks in part to a recently released teaser trailer....

The recent release of Gears 5 has broken all previous sales records and is now Xbox Game Studios’ biggest launch title of this console generation. The latest installment in the long-running Gears of War franchise, Gears 5 was developed by The Coalition, formerly known as Black Tusk Studios, and directly follows the events of Gears of War 4. Although it was already revealed more people on Xbox are playing Gears 5 than Fortnite, very few people expected the game to do this well....

To say Friends is a memorable show is an understatement. It’s been over a decade since it left the air and the hype surrounding it never really died down. The show introduced plenty of amazing characters that are quoted on a daily basis. To mix up some entertainment culture, we took some of the main characters from the show and picked out their D&D class equivalents. Each pick is based on personality traits that make up the roles, and the moral alignments of their actions throughout the entire series....

Throughout the course of Friends, there is plenty of ups and downs with lots of love and heartache all taking place, showing the reality of life itself with the beloved characters going through the emotional rollercoaster. During the show, each character has plenty of relationships, with some lasting longer than others and eventually a few even sticking around for the long term. While the people each character ends up with are what most want, that doesn’t mean that there aren’t great relationships before then....

The first reviews are in for Frozen 2. Following a fairly quiet September and October, Disney is back with a vengeance this month. They only just launched their Disney+ streaming service this past Tuesday, and are already exceeding expectations when it comes to selling subscriptions. Things won’t slow down next week either, when their anticipated sequel to Frozen - the studio’s Oscar-winning animated blockbuster that grossed well north of $1 billion at the box office in 2013 - begins its run in theaters....

Matt Groening’s other successful animated series, Futurama, amassed a loyal fan base before ending in 2013 - and despite calls for the show to return to the small screen since then, Groening has so far resisted the temptation. Fans may be getting the next best thing, however, in the form of a mobile game that will see Futurama’s original writers and cast reunite. Mobile gaming is perhaps the most lucrative market in the video game industry at the moment, with titles such as Candy Crush and Pokemon GO!...

Future AirPods models could offer a range of smart features that would blur the line between in-ear headphones and hearing aids, suggests a new thought piece today. AirPods Pro models already offer a ‘layered’ sound experience, but future models could offer far more sophisticated sound processing… MacWorld’s Jason Snell makes the case. He starts by looking at the three modes currently offered by AirPods Pro: normal, noise-canceling, and ‘transparency.’ The technology, he notes, already exists – in audio-processing software used for things like cleaning up podcast recordings....

Jon Snow returned from the dead in Game of Thrones, but his resurrection will likely be a little bit different in George R.R. Martin’s next A Song of Ice and Fire book, The Winds of Winter. Among all the deaths in both books and show, Jon Snow’s is one of the most momentous. Branded a traitor by his Night’s Watch brothers, Jon Snow is stabbed to death by a group of mutineers at the very end of Game of Thrones season 5 (and towards the end of the fifth A Song of Ice and Fire book, A Dance With Dragons)....

HBO’s Game of Thrones releases a trailer for the documentary special The Last Watch. Last March, the behind-the-scenes production was first announced, and will air one week after the series finale. Next weekend’s Game of Thrones’ episode will mark the end of the iconic series. Directed by Jeanie Finlay, The Last Watch chronicles the production of Game of Thrones season 8. The British filmmaker documented the entire process, so fans will receive a unique look at The Battle of Winterfell, along with the battle at King’s Landing during the penultimate episode....

A popular video game franchise may only be as popular as its main villain, and with Ganondorf at the forefront of the Legend of Zelda series, we can see why he’s been around for as long as he has. Like any good villain, Ganon serves as Link’s polar opposite. In every iteration, he doesn’t fail to deliver terror and fear amongst the Hylians and the Hyrule Kingdom. At times his power seems almost limitless, which makes him the ultimate test of courage for only the most worthy hero....

The problem with combination wrist watch/calculators has always been that their keypads are two small to be usable by a normal sized human being. Punching no fewer than two keys at the same time was all but impossible. Now, however–and just in time for Christmas–we have a watch with keys big enough… Hold it! Wait just a darn minute. It’s…. Those…. It turns out that the Keypad made by Click isn’t a calculator at all, no matter how inviting those big, soft keys may be....

Based upon a request by U.S. Senator Maggie Hassan (D-N.H.), the Federal Trade Commission has agreed to investigate video game loot boxes. The FTC will look into whether loot boxes constitute an illegal form of online gambling. Loot boxes are virtual boxes of items that are available for purchase in video games. Although players do not know exactly what items they get when they buy a loot box, they generally consist of digital goods, such as stats upgrades, boosts, skins, weapons, armor, outfits and other in-game merchandise....

Future Man launches into its second season on Hulu today, and Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg’s nostalgia-laden, time-traveling series promises to get even zanier in its sophomore outing than it did in its first (if you watched five full minutes of season 1, you’d know that’s saying something). At the end of the last season, time travelers Tiger and Wolf (Eliza Coupe and Derek Wilson) and their unwitting recruit Josh Futturman (Josh Hutcherson) finally succeeded in their mission to deter a timeline that resulted in a post-apocalyptic Earth filled with humans hunted by the villainous Biotics....

Henry Golding has entered talks to play Snake Eyes in the upcoming G.I. Joe live-action movie spinoff about the character. Despite having had (at best) mixed success with their first two attempts to adapt the G.I. Joe toyline for the big screen, Paramount and Hasbro are teaming up against for a new slate of films based on the IP. Up first will be Snake Eyes, a project centered around the ninja commando who was previously portrayed by Ray Park in the movies G....
