[This article contains SPOILERS for Game of Thrones.] Game of Thrones had a big day at SXSW. The Austin, Texas festival played host to the series’ co-creators and showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss. During their time speaking to the audience, they delivered plenty of news, not the least of which was a confirmation on just how many episodes fans can expect when the eighth and final season rolls around. They also mentioned how excited they would be to watch any potential spinoff HBO may or may not have in the works from the comfort of their own homes, suggesting some “new blood” might be the best way to approach a continuation of the acclaimed and highly profitable series....

Gearbox boss Randy Pitchford continues to make headlines ahead of the launch of Borderlands 3 in under a month, and his presence in the news remains a largely negative one that’s surely affecting perception of the upcoming game by now. Pitchford has infamously been involved in a number of scandals in 2019 alone, with it only taking around a week into the year before the first story broke about Pitchford’s messy lawsuit with former Gearbox general counsel Wade Callender....

Halo 2600 This is a free online flash game based on the popular FPS Halo, but designed for as though it came out on the Atari 2600. To start the game press any key on your keyboard. Then use the arrow keys to navigate through your journey. At first you don’t have a weapon so make sure you grab it before trying to deal with the aliens. Then avoid the enemy shooting at you and press the spacebar to shoot back....

The one thing to watch out for during installation is unchecking the Crawler toolbar from being installed in Firefox and Internet Explorer. Before beginning a game you go into the Galaxy and choose a server and game to start in. You can also play as a single player. This includes cool fast game play where you collect different power ups, armor, and weapons to shoot other aliens with over 40 different levels....

Aladdin is one of the most beloved animated Disney films of the past 30 years. The original animation team spent a long time designing the look and feel of Agrabah to make it come alive. Taking that look and bringing it to life for a live action movie would be quite the daunting task. Out of all the gang on Friends, many people would agree that Monica is likely to be their least favorite. Origins of the Floppy Disk Throughout the 1960s, IBM shipped many mainframes with magnetic core memory, which could retain its contents when powered off. As the mainframe computer industry began to use solid-state transistor memory that lost its contents when powered down, IBM found itself needing a way to quickly load system software into these new machines at boot to get them going. The conventional solution required loading data from stacks of punched cards or spools of magnetic tape, which could be slow and bulky....

At the time, we mentioned John Celuch of Inland Design, who provided the recording to LifeLibertyTech, actually met Jobs at the conference. John apparently approached Jobs at the conference in order to obtain an item to place in a time capsule. Today, LifeLibertyTech posted the full story, revealing Jobs gave John the mouse from the Apple Lisa he was using to control a 6 projector setup during the conference....

Gabrielle Union thanked fans for their support amid her America’s Got Talent departure. Controversy arose when she and fellow freshman judge Julianne Hough were both unceremoniously fired from the show, following rumors of a toxic work environment. Union and Hough were brought onto the show in early 2019 to replace judges Heidi Klum and Mel B, both of whom had been terminated in the previous season. Klum has since made her way to America’s Got Talent Champions, and will soon be joined by judge Alesha Dixon in 2020....

HBO’s CEO has seen all six rough cuts for Game of Thrones upcoming season 8 and described the experience as watching “six movies.” Last December, HBO released a trailer for Games of Thrones’ eighth and final season, thus officially kicking off a new marketing campaign that will only ramp up over the coming months. TV sitcoms often rely on the strength of their cast of memorable and humorous characters. Producer Amy Pascal reveals that upcoming Spider-Man spinoffs from Sony Pictures Entertainment will remain separate from Tom Holland’s version of the wall-crawling hero and the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
