[WARNING - This article contains potential SPOILERS for Game of Thrones season 7.]

-

Game of Thrones is currently filming season 7, which will premiere a little later than usual next year, airing in late summer as opposed to early spring. During this time, cunning fans and drone enthusiasts will typically flock to their set or scout the locations the hit fantasy series usually films at in an attempt to snap a photo or get a scoop that will reveal something–anything about what’s going on next season.

This year that effort is even more intense, because unlike in previous years, we know next to nothing about what will happen in Game of Thrones season 7. The television show has now eclipsed the narrative of George R.R. Martin’s novels, leaving all fans - book readers or not - in the dark. Still, there have been a few bits of information we’ve learned about season 7: Daenerys and her dragons may stop off in various locations in Westeros, two key characters may return, and the fan-favorite, pint-sized Lady of Bear Island is definitely returning.

We learned that Bella Ramsey (Lyanna Mormont) was for sure coming back in season 7 when she was spotted leaving a trailer in costume at Linen Mill Studios, Northen Ireland. Reportedly, she was on set along with Kit Harington (Jon Snow), Gwendoline Christie (Brienne of Tarth), Daniel Portman (Podrick Payne), Liam Cunningham (Ser Davos), Aiden Gillen (Littlefinger), and Sophie Turner’s (Sansa Stark) double - which sounds about right since Lyanna was last seen swearing her allegiance to the new King in the North. But now more photos from the set have surfaced, and they reveal even more characters that might all be sharing a scene or two next season.

First up is a photo Maisie Williams, known better the world over as Arya Stark. Her character has been globe-trotting for much of the last couple seasons, but as she declared near the end of season 6, Arya is coming home. Many have assumed that means Winterfell, though it’s possible she was talking about Westeros in general. But these new photos - which feature Williams in a brand new costume - might just shed a little light on that:

Now, technically a new outfit could be just that, a new outfit. But there is something decidedly northern about her attire, isn’t there? If you look back over the seasons, you’ll notice that practically every Stark, from Ned to Robb to now Jon, have all worn something very similar. And Arya, always the tomboy, wouldn’t just don a fancy frock like her sister were she to return to Winterfell and take her place among her family. No, she’d wear what she finds most comfortable - and in this case that means a leather jacket, tunic, and slacks, just like the boys.

And that’s not all those eagle-eyed fans have spotted on the Game of Thrones set. In addition to snapping photos of Williams in a new costume, they also captured a shot of Bran actor, Isaac Hempstead Wright on set the same day. (Head on over to fansite, Winter is Coming for the whole lot of set photos.) And again, while Linen Mill Studios could conceivably host several interior sets, meaning that all these actors might not actually be filming together, it’s also just as possible that they are.

So if that’s the case, then we could potentially be looking at a season 7 that not only unites all the surviving Starks, but sees them and their allies taking up arms against either the Crown or The White Walkers (whichever turns out to be the more pressing threat). Those new looks for both Arya and Lyanna do look like the kind of getup for girls going to war, don’t you think? And you just know Arya and Lyanna would be fast friends, so let’s hope this is what it looks like, and Arya heads north sooner than later in season 7.

Game of Thrones will return with season 7 on HBO in summer of 2017.
