The show Full House was on from 1987 to 1995, telling the story of  Danny Tanner, his brother-in-law named Jesse Katsopolis, his best friend named Joey Gladstone and his three daughters, named D.J., Stephanie and Michelle.

Over the years, several notable guest stars appeared on this popular and family-friendly television series. Some of these famous people were actors on other well-known shows of the ‘90s, some were related to the stars of Full House, and some were musicians, athletes or TV personalities. Down below, a couple of different ones are listed out that people may have forgotten appeared on this classic show.

Barry Williams

Barry Williams is known for playing Greg Brady on The Brady Bunch, but he was on this popular show at one point, as well.

In 1994, he appeared in an episode that was titled “Making Out Is Hard to Do” and that focused on Stephanie going to an interesting party thrown by Gia (who even shows up in the sequel series on Netflix, Fuller House). And somewhere in the story, Barry Williams portrayed Barry Williams!

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is a retired professional basketball player, and fittingly, he was in an episode called “Air Jesse” from 1995.

The plot involved Jesse being embarrassed to admit that he couldn’t play basketball, so he got coached by a pro, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. That certainly seems like a good way to learn.

Tia Mowry-Hardrict & Tamera Mowry-Housley

Tia Mowry-Hardrict and Tamera Mowry-Housley are real-life twin sisters who had their own show called Sister, Sister. And in 1992, they both played a character named Denise on Full House. In “The Devil Made Me Do It” Michelle acted up, and Stephanie and Kimmy fought. It’s interesting that they seemed to share the role since the Olsen twins also both played their character within this story!

Of course, Tia and Tamera’s real-life little brother, Tahj Mowry, was a supporting character on this series for many years, playing Michelle’s friend named Teddy, who is also pictured here.

Jaleel White

Jaleel White played Steve Urkel on Family Matters from 1989 until 1998, and in 1991, this actor and this character appeared on Full House. Why was he around?

Well, he helped get used to her new glasses in “Stephanie Gets Framed”, from the year 1991, since he was a pro on the subject. What a crossover!

Chelsea Noble

Chelsea Noble was on Growing Pains with Kirk Cameron, and these two are now married. And Kirk Cameron is the brother of Candace Cameron Bure, who played D.J. on Full House! Another fun fact is that Kirk Cameron played Cousin Steve on an episode of Full House in 1988, and then he played himself in an episode of Fuller House last year (in an episode that featured Kimmy going on a date with him actually).

This actress was in “The Seven-Month Itch: Part 1 & Part 2”, which focused on Jesse getting tired of having a lack of privacy and too many family responsibilities. Her character was named Samantha, and this happened early on, in 1988.

The Beach Boys

The plot of “Beach Boy Bingo” centered around The Beach Boys being in town and D.J. winning the chance to go see them. Therefore, the actual group was featured in the episode, playing themselves.

Several musically gifted people appeared on this series over the years, and a lot of that was due to Uncle Jesse’s career. Seeing these boys was pretty special, though.

Mickey Rooney

One of the Christmas episodes of Full House was titled “Arrest Ye Merry Gentlemen”, and it featured Mickey Rooney as Mr. Dreghorn.

This acclaimed actor was known for his roles in classic films such as National Velvet, Breakfast at Tiffany’s and The Black Stallion, and in 1994, he got to act alongside the Tanner family.

Suzanne Somers

Suzanne Somers had notable roles on two different TV shows; she was Chrissy Snow in Three’s Company and Carol Foster Lambert in Step by Step.

Then, in 1994, she was on this show as herself, in an episode called “Love on the Rocks”. In it, D.J. was worried about her relationship with Steve, and Steve went to a film seminar in Los Angeles.

Vanna White

Vanna White is another star who played herself on Full House, and she may be the only television personality who guest-starred. Best known as being the hostess of Wheel of Fortune since 1982, Vanna White was in “The Test” from the year 1994, an episode about D.J. taking the S.A.Ts.

And, yes, she even got to wear a sparkly dress and flip letters over, just like audiences are used to seeing her do.

Andrew Keegan

Andrew Keegan portrayed Wilson West in 7th Heaven, Joey Donner in 10 Things I Hate About You and Reed Isley in Party of Five. Then, in an episode called “All Stood Up” from 1995, he appeared in this TV show.

The premise was that Stephanie asked a boy to the dance then got stood up, FYI. Ouch. We bet it ended with a helpful pep talk, an “awww” from the crowd and a happy ending, though… This show was great at that.

Little Richard

Additionally, Little Richard played himself on Full House in “Too Little Richard Too Late”. Released in 1994, it focused on Joey running for PTA president, in order to try and help save Michelle’s school’s art program.

Little Richard was Denise’s uncle, who performed at Joey’s pre-election rally. How lucky was everyone there, right?!

Trent & Elizabeth Olsen

And then there was an episode with Trent and Elizabeth Olsen, the real-life siblings of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who shared the responsibility of playing Michelle Tanner!

Elizabeth played Girl with Flowers, while Trent was Boy with Flowers, uncredited roles that came in 1995. Nowadays, though, Elizabeth is the one in the spotlight, as she has been in films such as Silent House, Godzilla and Wind Riverand plays Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
